It was just another day of the holiday, we went to our teacher's house for an overnight and while we're there, we had the opportunity to prepare dinner for teacher n baba ^.^

"Leave it all to us!" I said and thus the frying, cutting, cooking, messing the place up begins!

All the dishes were Dijah's idea, while me? i am the humble and loyal helper that contribute in making this dinner a success!

le ingredients ~

so what was the dishes prepared?

1. tom yam campur (mostly vegetables n delicious!!!)

2. ikan kerapu masak 3 rasa

3. ikan bilis kentang masak kicap (kering n pembuka selera teacher!)

4.telur dadar

5.keropok ikan terengganu!(yeah this is all me...the only one. haha)

okay, i'm calling this Deejah's Tomyam. basically you just tumis all the basic stuff with the chicken until you feel like its done.

and the rest, just mixed all up!

and we had a wonderful and delicious dinner together :)

my bad peeps, we were so excited to eat that at the end of the meal i just realized,

Hey blog,

it has been such a long time since i've played with you, yeah too long!

Dont worry, i have all the time in the world and i shall fill you in what you have been missing all these months!

Since i'm currently using the broadband form i was in form 4, so the speed of the bb is very very low since it has lost its power from the competition of the new n modern bb nowadays.

but i'm glad i got that bb because it really has stopped me from onlining and i could really study for my finals,

thanks broadband! i love you so much! :)

Due to my lazyness/monsoon climate change(during my finals)/constantly raining/ade je bende nak buat, i didnt get the chance to clean up my poor baby! so dusty n dull looking, haih sedhi yang teramat tgk baby! n today i got it clean!! After Maya got back from school i ordered her (hehehe i love you beb) to follow me to go wash baby. of course i would need some bait to get her out of the house, thus the idea of playing the PS at the shop while waiting for baby to finish, and did i get it? SCORE! hik hik hik but yeah secretly i had always wanted to do that~ ;p so its a win-win situation!

Unfortunately, some thing happened at SACC n got me mad, thus we went to the car wash near our house, luckily got polish also n thus, the cleaning begin while me and Maya just chilling at the bistro for an hour after i torture her to a 6 minutes massage on the rest n go chair as practice for our delicate time at the spa soon! ;D and she bought it? SCORE AGAIN! Me 2-0 Maya! haha

its a god thing i have Maya, she could eat all the whip cream from my shake, bluergh~

BATU BUROK'S AISKRIM GORENG IS WAAAAAYYYY MUCH BETTER!

this one i dont even understand as too which part is the fried one~ =.=

yeah, chilling n killing time~

i think that was the first i actually read what is written in the magazine. i still prefer books.

somehow that puts a smile on my face :)

this weekend has really brighten up my life; it was not that fun for a moment.

i missed home and yeah i missed my sisters. Eventhough the original plan was to just sleep like snorlax and recharging the battery to face more drama's in life, i decided to tag along to ALL the outings and spend my time home only when the lights are out.

Its amazing that there are still so many things that you learn about each other eventhough you have known that person since you breath! yup, this weekend i got to learn more about my sisters and I love them so freaking much! Eventhough i'm not the gooey gooey gentle kinda sister, but i do love to be such a nuisance to them until it annoys them, i dont know why but i really love doing that and an expert in those things! My poor sisters, but they know i love them so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so much!

today we send Nina back to Tapah and these is what happens along the way

Ohya before we head home, we stopped by at Papa's office since there are some things he need to settle before he's "business trip". Nothing much, we just went to his room and ate he's snack while waiting for him. While scanning through he's office, these wall made me smile and i awwed myself silently ;)

its the wall beside he's desk, an engineer's office you've got books about cables, some wires with their reference numbers, basics stuff, bingkai ayat Quran and the most priceless item, a print of he's daughter's pictures when they first had their outing by themsleves and took a picture at the picture booth and brought it home, where he enlarge it and stick it to he's wall.

I love this drama but somehow i always get jealous everytime i watch it :)

The value of friendship means so much to these characters and makes me wanna feel those things too!

After tonight, I no longer felt that jealousy ;) Its a really great feeling to hang around and just talk with each other. No phones/electronic stuff to distract us. Not even musics were played since we did not stop talking! The joy of being in each other company and just simply enjoying each moment you spent with them, it is way priceless :)

I am so glad we had these bbq. The thing is its like a thing for us to do, but this is like the first time I ever got to go and I'm so happy and ecstatic! Finally i could join them! ;D

Tonight was very joyous to me(yes my grammar is very very poor). However the joy that i felt had pretty much made me forgotten of all the troubles i had and ease my mind a bit from my hectic university life. A friend's company is really among the best thing in life! I have four of them and they had made my day. With the biggest smile on my face, we have our own group of HIMYM and I love everyone of them!

you know what? my english is getting bad day by day.

why may i ask? since i have stop using it daily in my life.

yes. i admit i had used less and less english in my everyday life.

besides that, i realized i'm not what i used to be.

i used to wrote all sorts of things here.

i couldn't care less of what people might think when they read my post.

but now i do care,

i care what others think and i try my best to put on a good show in front of everybody.

okay, this post was months months ago!

i think it was my weekend trip home, during the time my laptop was broken and i had to get it fixed! i cant quite remember the date but yeah, it was my date with nadiah and she listed down all things we had to do that day, so cute! Here's the list!

we went to bukit raja to but movie tickets, not sure which movie it was

yes, she kept asking me to take her to hot n roll (mcm nina...no wonder they're sisters)

n yes it was my 1st time ordering crispy peanut n nuts...that would be my 1st n last ever! so peanutty, no thanks

n yes, the joy of having a brother,

he kept playing the guitar until we get off the bed.

this was about Nina's 20th birthday!

I know i know we're turning 20, do we need these childish stuff?

well the thing was, when we were celebrating our 18 n 19 years old at Uniten, Nina is the only one who hasnt been striked on her bday, so Syah wanted to be sure all is fair in love and war, thus the attack! hahahhaa

it was my duty to prepare the delicious soup

ingredient : water+baby shampoo + softlan+kunyit(lots of it) since we didnt had much time to prepare that was all we could dig up

and also lots of flour. the idea was all on the spot, we waited for nina to come down n ambushed her after in between our apartment :)

to respect privacy, that is the only picture that is allowed to be post but we got her good! ;D

okay now i remember!!! all these unpublished posts were during my 2nd year 1st sem!

due to time constraint, i was able to upload just the pictures and had no time to talk about them, thus explain the compiled post with just edit buttons and no writings! hahaha

this was about my re-take signal test 1!

NEVER, i said, NEVER in my life i had taken a RE-TEST paper!

thus this was my first time ever i took it!

the real test i got only 20++ over 50 due to using the wrong formula

and i was not keen and satisfied with myself that i decided to take the re-test and what did i got?

42/50!!! Alhamdulillah, may not be perfect but it is still better right?

As i scroll down the page, it was dated 7/4/11... wow its like almost a year that i left these posts hanging in the web, sorry for that lads!

This is a story of us storming to UKM's library in the quest of searching informations about Mazhab2 in Islam for our ISLB213 presentation. if i'm not mistaken, ours was about Mazhab Maliki. truth to be told, i am really poor and bad in looking at thousands of books or to be exact, stacked items with wordings on it. i cant really read it because my eyes would be rolling up and down trying to find the words from all the stacked books. yes, even at the supermarket looking at all the canned foods. (absolutely cannot be a pustakawan ;p)

so many books! not like uniten...nothing =.=

mek mierah tired of standing finding books

noni found her book much much earlier than us =.=

finally, it took us about 2 hours finding hte correct books and about half an hour taking pictures of the pages that we need since we cant copy them. only ukm student's are allowed too.

This tale is about us accomplishing our 20% carry marks by doing some community service.

for our batch, it was a massive gotong royong of the whole kampung of ..... omg i forgot the name but it is just behind Ainin's house!

Almost 100++ person are in charge of this gotong royong and we were divided into 10 groups if i'm not mistaken. Our bus had arrived first and we waited for the other bus for quite some time.

Thus explain the picture of us feeling bored and has nothing to do but to pose my silly request~

oh ya! that day i had a big BIG zit on my face! i could even see it from my eye when i try to look downward. heavens big! annnnd just when i'm so excited to do some cleaning, i got stuck with kitchen duty. hurmm~

honestly, it was quite boring since all the meal are prepared by the villagers, so we just had to clean the veggies n basically that's all. I did nothing much and waited for the day to end.

funny thing was, that day, a lot, i mean A LOT of people were emotional including yours truly.

i guess the wheather or maybe that whole day got into us and some of us got quickly annoyed with each other. memories. lol!

Pak cik jual aiskrim was among the luckiest guy that day, almost 80% of us had at least a cone of ice-cream each! it was a really really hot day and an ice-cream is really neede for those type of days. ;)

so just a simple post,

a bit tired from all the hustle bustle of my life today

let's see, today while i was busy studying the song for our practice tonight,

i got a really disturbing message from a mitch?( male + bitch = mitch?)

despite the new term, ya its quite disturbing and hell yeah do i have the time to entertain you..

"i dont understand malay"...but wrote in malay....dumb? or stupid?

conclusion : just a waste of my time.....so be gone you dumbass from my life.

also, today was the first time we(choir) learn a song without shaz....(as for my experiencela)

and it was...humphh....quite interesting and i've got A LOT LOT MORE to learn about music,

REALLY!

but i was so happy that we not only have 1 pianist...but 2 pianist !!! ^.^

yeay! we have a pianist! (yeah yeah kutuk all you want ed...i know myself i'm not that good)

so besides ed being ed....everything was ok...although the plan for tonight was to get the parts until the 1st verse but all we could get was the intro... HA HA

but seriously! i was very happy ! hey its our first time learning by ourselves and we could sing harmonicly...(pitching..ermm i myself dont know how to detect so haha what the hell!)

the main key is to have fun! but still rmmbr our own part!

so yeah! i'm happy for todays practice! ^.^

and....oh yeah...almost forgot....i almost had an accident today, but luckily all is fine

it has been quite some time since i've blogged about my mum's recipe.

today, its gonna be the famous delicious mouth watering NASI SERAI! ;)

its really quite a simple dish to make and the result?

heavenly! :)

i like to say, the smells from the kitchen is like heaven on Earth

ingredients : (10-12 pax)

1 kg of berasmathi(not sure the spelling)

ginger

onion

garlic

minyak jagung

a stick of cinnamon

1 tablespoon of butter

4 batang serai

steps :

1. heat up the oil and butter at the same time

2. put in cinnamon stick and 3 spoon of blended onions, 1 spoon of blended garlic and half a spoon of blended ginger

3. serai and 1.5 onions

4. mixed the rice and let it cook for about 5 minutes, then add in water with the equal of amount of cups of rice

the 'perencah'

nasi serai!

eat it with delicious chicken rendang!

let me see what time is it? 3 o'clock in the morning!

yes sir! and we've just almost completed our DILO project!!!

well, almost 70% i think since tomorrow morning we have to go the computer lab to complete the last part of the project which is to translate from altera design(circuit design) into VHDL code which are programming code. basically we have to turn circuit into words to get timing diagram which are the line line thingie that you see...ermm wait..where do you see it in your everyday life? hurrm.......its okla, here's a picture of what timing diagram is...

i dont know if this is a normal thing you see in life but for me, us(engineering students) sooo normal. anyhow, back to our progress, at first the circuit looked like this!

(like the previous post)

however after 6 hours of researching through the net, getting better understanding of the function for each multiplexer,encoder,logic gates, connections, blablablabla(all the techincal stuff)

we finally made it! though not 100% correct since the output didnt turned out the way we want it but hey at least there's an output !! i know i know but hey at least we have something than nothing right? at least we've tried our best and didnt surrender and whine(lalalalala~~)

and thus, after hours and hours of troubleshooting, our final circuit wasssss

much less complicated than the first one, instead of magnitude comparator, we changed it into multiplexer to act as the comparator and decides which algorithmic operations to be done!

i would like to thank NINA MIERA AND SYAH for their time and effort in accomplishing tonight's goal! yes! just now this thing is done...now all that is left for us to sleep and sleep and went to ITMS(computer lab) to get the VHDL codes done with! and ohya..meeting with the other guy......no more comment. enough said. berdosa lagi kang.

funny story, while we were googling images of 6 signed bit adder/subtrator..guess whose picture we found?

i know! even monkeys are interested in building circuits! they have a guy for signed bit adder/sub tractor! hahahaha

but also i love pastel colors, but very soft and calm colors

2. when i'm crazy/interested/fallen in love with someone/astist, i'll stalk them maybe 60% madness.

i cant say i'm a total fanatic, i'll just stalk until i'm quite content with what i've known.

not really interested to know their whole life, its not my business to sniff in

3. a song that i really really love, i would play it over and over and over again untul i hate it because when the time i hate it, i would remember almost the whole song. thus i could sing it well :)

4. i didnt know karaoke like until i was 18. yes, i know. shut up!

5. i can be so ignorant especially when it comes to people, but my mind, ears, eyes are sharp when it comes to people talking bad about my friends. curse you people

6. sometimes i grit my teeth loudly but i would never realized it until someone told me. yup.

i guess its a habit/side effect from wearing braces?

7. i am very lazy. especially when it comes to studying(like duh~) and also updating this blog. sometimes the latest post could be like months away. i just blog when it feels like it.

8. i used to love long hair but my current hairstyle is quite nice i think, not too short not too long and naturally _________(girls who've seen me only can imagine this ;))

9. speaking of hair, i've had 1 malfunction-disastrous-mortifying-extremely-short-hair cut when i was in standard 3? i forgot, and since then i swore to myself, no more short hair!!

and to top it all off, i was wearing perfectly ROUND glasses. shut up! i know what you're saying. just SHUT UP! omg, now to think of it...i've had that haircut TWICE!!!!!! that was in standard one!!!!!! hahahahahhahahaha erk!

10. i am secretly afraid of heights. but i loveeee roller coasters!

11. i am a slowpoke. when it comes in searching the correct brand of sardine in ROWS of ROWS of ROWS of canned tins in the hypermarket.

12. sometimes i feel like my legs are not equally long, that's why i sometimes i limped when i walk. those who walk with me from coe to admin building everyday can see. i'll always kinda missed a step on a smooth pavement.

13. i bought 7/8 pairs of shoes when i was in form 4and form 5 while my brother only bought 2 school shoes! not because to be in the trend, because all of my shoes either torn at the tip, or the heels broke or the sides opened or the glue i used to get the heels back in position has become glueless and so on. and i wore somebody's shoes during my spm due to my ill-nature-poor-sad-condition shoes ;(

14. sometimes i love facebook, sometimes i hate facebook.

15. i prefer going out watching movies or karaoke then bowling.

16. i dont eat cakes /cupcakes that much, but i love love chocolates and mini muffins because they are digestable and easy to swallow. lol

17. i like playing the organ/piano but i love playing the guitar and i'd die if there were no music.

18. music heals me for everything except there's one time, i was so sad i couldnt even sing. that was a shocker!

19. i love to take pictures, but so lazy to learn the digital2 stuff there are to get a better and more magnificent picture.

20. i like gentleman's, i think if i could relive my life, i would love to go the era where boys/men were gentleman's, aka like in a tux and speak with full manner and amazingly enchanting people aka girls aka me, away ;)

right after our e1 test(if only she was that helpful during class)

i've set dates with my beloved yaya,najib, and echo to settle our debt in karok :)

its been quite a long time since we've karok together :)
two extra gang joined us, non-other than our artists! H+D!

the karok was nice! it was fun and fun and fun

we stayed for a while for some chat and then went our seperate ways

on the way back, we stumbled upon a movie shoot by KRU, the scene was about a girl and a boy saying something and then hopped on a white scooter(so cool!) and rushed out of the scene.

they do that over and over again, must be tiresome but well-paid i presume.

(minus the conversation the boys had before we leave, you guys are somewhat gross!)

i met apan,nabil,k-man,kamal,errr omg sorry guys, lupe lak spe lagi ade but a few more guys from my school when iwas heading back to the car. apparently they didnt get the chance to bid farewell to pakyat and bank before they check in . thus, they went to alamanda. it was quite a surprise to met them there.

hehehehehe i guess i do, my lack of knowledge or interest of knowing Malaysia's indie band is very very depressingly poor :P

thus, last night, for the first time i saw PESAWAT,

sorry to say but i'm bad in remembering names and stuff but i do remember songs :)

i know some of their songs, but never took the liberty of knowing the name of the song, the band and so on :)

pesawat was cool, fun and awesome :)

one more thing that attracts me was the keyboardist/synthesizer

Las night on the 30th of January we had a belated celebration for Bal n Irfan's birthday, believe me this was the most short notice on the spot birthday celebration i've ever been to!

it was amazingly tired and fun! so fun!we had dinner reservations at The Apartment, the food was so-so but the whole place was nice, the service was good and the environment is homey :)

me and mia had an interesting memory of running around and scout for present on the SPOT!

i guess it has been quite a while since i've been exploring places,

just walking around and observing random peoples behavior

its funny how people could see you act when you didn't notice

for instance, in the lrt, we saw a couple fighting.

it was a cold war basically, the boy asked the girl to buy the ticket

and the girl sulked BIG TIME.

she jumped into the train and without a sec got herself a seat

after the next stop, the seat beside her was empty and she lift her leg

so that her nearby boyfriend could not sit

and the boy kept on poking his head back and forth not to let the girl sees his face

we(me and tiah) laughed silently :P

actually this was not the storyline for the title,

its been a while since i've bought a sandal.

just a fresh rewind, i'm holding back for the perfect shoe/sandal that i havent yet set my eyes on.

yes, call me what you want, but i am quite particular in buying certain stuff, especially when it comes to shoes/sandals(bracelets are extremely exceptional!)

i'm actually waiting for Sketcher's shoes but up until this day i havent found it.

Daim Cake

3 C (360g) all-purpose flour
- 3 tsp (1 envelope) baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly grated nutmeg
- 11 oz (300g) Daims
- 1/4 C (22g) ground almonds (a.k.a. powdered almonds or almond meal)
- 2 sticks (220g) unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 C (300g) granulated sugar
- 1/4 C (35 g) light brown sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract (I use vanilla paste from Trader Joe's)
- 1 C (250 ml) plain yogurt
- Confectioner's sugar (optional)

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease a 10-inch cake pan (I use one with a removable bottom).

Unwrap the Daims and chop them roughly with a knife, not too thinly: you want Daims chunks, not Daims powder. In a medium mixing-bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, nutmeg and ground almonds. In a smaller bowl, toss the chopped Daims with a tablespoon of the flour mixture.

Cream the butter in the food processor for 3 minutes. Add in the granulated sugar and mix for 2 minutes. Add in the brown sugar and mix for another minute. Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well between each addition. Add in the vanilla extract and mix again.

Add the flour mixture in three additions, alternating them with the yogurts in two additions, beginning and ending with the flour mixture. Avoid overmixing the batter. Stir in the chopped Daims, and pour the batter into the cake pan, leveling the surface with a spatula.

Put into the oven to bake for 55 minutes to an hour, until the cake turns brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let rest for five minutes on a rack, unmold and return to the rack to cool completely. Dust the top with confectioner's sugar if desired --

today was our digital logic's exam,

they were so freaking easy,

i feel that i make use of all the time i was given,

hope it was enough.

to save us from hanging out on the weekends,

and could lead to us procrastinate our work and studies,

project and tests,

me and the girls hit the mines,

for just a fun outing,

and it lead us to San Fransisco's Pizza.

i've always wanted to go there and yes, its worth it!

i am so going there again to try lots more food!

Today is not one of my favorite days,

tomorrow is the test and i'm still goofing around,

i got the marks for my quiz and it sucks,(careless mistakes can really kill you)

others are preparing for the test,

when i was depressed

i was kinda depressed this past couple of days,
and at first i think this was kinda silly

"Inbox me any number, and I'll make my status your number and what I think about you. Fun thing is, only you and me know what your number is! =]"

but a friend of mine asked me just to try it and hell yeah it was fun!
my depression were gradually fading away and i was happy again
just reading what they wrote, and me myself, reminiscing the old days,
trying to think of what he/she had affect my life
it turns out to be a great way to handle with my depression :)
